Job summary

The Supply Chain Analyst is a crucial member of the Supply Chain BI and Analytics team.  They are a technical minded individual, responsible for the development of analytics, reporting, and insight for the organization on the health of the supply chain. The candidate will develop analytics accountable for service metrics out to our customers as well as in from our suppliers, inventory, and operational metrics as well as any other key performance indicators needed by the business.  The Supply Chain Analyst will work closely with the Store & DC Supply Chain teams, the Reverse Logistics team, and Supply Chain Management to support Supply Chain business needs as well as Merch Finance to communicate the health of the supply chain to other departments.

Summary of essential job functions

  • Design and develop scalable analytics solutions in pursuit of service, profit, and inventory objectives.
  • Design and develop interactive and insightful Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations based on business needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
  • Utilize Power BI capabilities to create dynamic and user-friendly reports that effectively present complex data in a comprehensible manner.
  • Work independently as well as in a team to deliver end-to-end analytic solutions within tight deadlines.
  • Strong PL/SQL development experience with the ability to write complex and nested SQL queries in Big Query

Key Performance Metrics:

  • Service metrics such as “On time in full”
  • Inventory turnover and investment metrics
  • Capacity utilization

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1 - 3 years of experience developing in Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, DAX
  • Have at least 5 years of experience As SQL Developer
  • Have at least 1 year of experience in Google Cloud platform (BigQuery)
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing complex supply chain problems, scenario modeling, and articulating tradeoffs to business.
  • Understanding of data modelling in general, dimensional & relational concepts like star- schema models, snowflake schema models, facts, and dimension tables
  • Strong ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously while effectively prioritizing work and adjusting to changing priorities.
