SUMMARY
The Senior Manager of International Business will serve as the lead strategist on all international efforts, inclusive of the NFL International Global Market Program (GMP). The position will serve as the catalyst for bringing together content, fan engagement, sponsorship, and events to create a unified and sustainable international marketing platform and business plan. Emphasis will be placed on building strategic partnerships and alliances that grow engagement and generate revenue. The position will report to the Senior Director of Sales Operations and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategic Vision
- Develop and implement organizational strategy to grow international fan base and revenue
- Foster, grow and manage relationships with foreign sports teams and leagues; media outlets and personalities; local celebrities; social influencers; Local business organizations
- Create annual marketing plan consisting of campaigns and content series that generate awareness and create impact, resulting in steady growth of KPIs
- Construct multi-year timelines of events and key milestones
- Serve as organizational lead for all in-market activations in all identified Global Markets
2. Agency Oversight
- Contract with and oversee international marketing, PR and event agencies and drive programming and execution
- Work with international marketing agencies on social media strategy, events, marketing campaigns, and international content development
- Work with staff and agencies to develop and budget new content ideas
3. NFL Relationship
- Oversee existing NFL International GMP initiatives in all identified countries and explore and develop additional country submissions
- Serve as the lead with the NFL International team, working closely with the NFL International office on data submission and sharing best practices
- Become expert at understanding rules, restrictions, and opportunities as part of International GMP, and guide internal stakeholders appropriately

4. Reporting and Measurements
- Report yearly/monthly metrics around international KPIs and growth audiences
- Analyze future international marketing opportunities, working with agency partners as well as internal business intelligence team
- Provide quarterly updates to executive leadership team
5. Talent Management
- Hire, manage, support, develop, and motivate international Business Operations Managers in each market.
6. Administration
- Primary organizational contact on international business, collaborating with other departments and across internal groups
- Awareness of news and current events affecting countries in which the Patriots are marketing their brand
- Work closely with merchandise team to integrate opportunities into international marketing strategy
- Manage international budget, working closely with finance on P&L and reporting
- Work with legal team to ensure compliance to international marketing rules
- Ensure that all PII data gathering adheres to current GDPR privacy policies and/or those of the specific country where PII data is being gathered
7. Special projects and assignments as business dictates
8. Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 3+ years in a professional environment working in international business
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Strong knowledge of social media, marketing, sales, and events best practices
- Demonstrated success working with various leaders, executives, and other staff members on a daily basis
- Experience creating and delivering marketing plans and programs at scale
- Experience participating in conversations with all levels of business executives
- Strong technical skills, digital and social marketing experience, and a proven ability to tackle hard, ambiguous problems with rigor and independence.
- In depth understanding of the international landscape, previous international marketing experience is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with American Football broadly and specifically the National Football League, teams, and rules
- Collaborative team player, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external constituents
