  3. Develop and maintain relationships with shipping carriers and freight forwarders to ensure ongoing supply chain stability and identify potential opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.
  4. Ensure that shipments are delivered on time, at the best possible cost, and in compliance with regulatory requirements, including customs regulations, import/export controls, and hazardous materials regulations.
  5. Monitor and report on shipping performance and develop and implement corrective actions as needed.
  6. Develop and maintain shipping policies and procedures that comply with applicable laws and regulations and support business objectives.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, supply chain, and customs brokers, to ensure that shipping activities are aligned with business objectives and meet customer requirements.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in international shipping or logistics, preferably in a management role.
  3. Strong knowledge of shipping regulations and compliance requirements, including customs regulations, import/export controls, and hazardous materials regulations.
  4. Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with shipping carriers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret data and make informed decisions.
  6. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
