Job Description

Are you seeking a new opportunity where your skills will be appreciated? Spherion Oxnard has an excellent opportunity for an Import/Export Manager for their Aerospace client located in Oxnard. This is a day shift position and the schedule will be 4/10 hour days with 3-day weekends! If that sounds good to you so far, read on for duties and responsibilities.


Responsible for overseeing operations of the Export Compliance Group, ensuring regulatory compliance with Imports, and managing license applications and Agreements for adherence to Department of State and Department of Commerce rules.

Coordinates audits, training sessions, and supervises personnel.

Manages export compliance records, determines product classifications, and handles administrative and regulatory requirements for export and import licensing.

Negotiates contracts, manages contract files, and resolves issues during import/export.

Provides regulatory input on Import Compliance.

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

1-4 years


Must have a minimum 3 years of direct experience or a combination of direct and related experience.

Must have previous experience in filing export and/or import licensing.

Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or related experience.

Knowledge of DDTC computer systems and controls.
