Position Purpose/Objective:
The Global Sales Manager’s primary responsibility will be on outbound sales activities to acquire new business by building a relational sales model. Create profitable and sustainable business to business relationships by engaging with Subject Matter Experts, Department Leaders, and external partners. Individuals will be self-starting, hard-working, dependable, and motivated to build relationships with their contacts and maintain ongoing referrals throughout the customer life cycle.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Initiate and develop business relationships/contacts into qualified leads
- Build relationships with the administrative and C-level employees at targeted accounts
- Listen to fully understand client needs and craft a response to fulfill and impress with need fulfilment
- Utilize Subject Matter Experts and Department Leaders to gain understanding of relocation services
- Demonstrate creativity in creating new avenues for contacts and/or revenue steams
- Identify corporate decision makers regarding employee relocation
- Generate prospective clients in target markets through cold calling, networking, reviewing applicable publications and targeted outreach plans to business organizations or directly to the business.
- Leverage MQLs as generated by WHR’s Marketing department and be apprised of the marketing efforts and campaigns that are utilized for outreach
- Develop and deliver proposals to secure new business
- Form opportunities for sales of additional products and services through strong sales and influencing skills
- Assist and/or prepare comprehensive bid proposals to prospective customers; consistent follow up on pending proposals.
- Meet and exceed identified sales targets through WHR identified goals and metrics
- Effectively manage in the transition process as new clients implement relocation programs to WHR
- Demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities and work through others in order to provide timely, customized business solutions
- Ensure all leads are appropriately entered in the HubSpot
- Increase job knowledge through participation in seminars, participating in educational opportunities, and personal networking
- Ability to travel supporting Client and WHR Global requirements
- Collaborate with WHR Executives to prepare appropriate pricing, terms, and conditions and ability to read and interpret contracts.
Minimum Sales Performance
- Maintain Projected Sales Orders Funnel at a minimum of 100% of annual sales goal.
- Maintain contact goals for assigned clients and ensure quality information is entered in CRM.
- All goals are translated to team on an annual basis
- After one-year completion on the job; maintain ten new contracts signed per year and $500,000 gross revenue.

- This position is eligible for 100% remote capabilities and is required to have face-to-face interactions with colleagues a few times a year.
- US Domestic Travel will vary 25% is average, in peak season up to 50%, other times as low as zero.
- Valid Passport will need to be obtained due to infrequent but occasional international travel
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communication or applicable field or a minimum of four years related experience to all facets of relocation is required
- Previous sales experience, 3-5 years with B2B is essential
- CRP designation and/or GMS designation is beneficial
100% remote is available and seeking candidates in certain geographic US regions (Midwest, East, or South). Must be eligible to work in the United States. Foreign applicants will not be considered. This is a direct position with the organization, full benefits, and salary plus commission.
